I have a Nexus 7 (2013 version) that is otherwise running fine.
This evening I got the Google ipv4 'unusual traffic' redirect notice. I entered the captcha and Google resumed working fine. Not sure what caused this, suspect it may have been someone else in the house using a VPN earlier today.
Anyway, whilst this was happening I ran a virus scan incase it was some kind of malware bombarding Google. I have the AVG Antivirus Free app. Only threat detected was a weird one...
"your clipboard content might be monitored by another application: [email protected]"
This email address was someone I'd been emailing earlier today about a Guinea Pig I wanted to buy from them! i haven't downloaded any attachments from said emails, and no weird apps with email addresses for names found on my tablet. The initial message I sent to this person was through a pet rehoming website (don't know if relevant). AVG gave me the option to block this, which I did.
Have since downloaded Malwarebytes, and have run AVG again- nothing detected by either.
Any ideas what this could be? Could it be related to the 'unusual traffic' notice?Have had no luck googling. Cheers!
