Hello y'all!

I just switched to an LG G4 from my iPhone 6 (got a 64GB microSD card as well). While the original launcher seems fine to use, I swapped over to Aviate and used it for a few weeks. The layout of the apps on the right side panels is great, but the left side and the search IMO are pretty pointless for me. I'd rather have quick access to Google Now. I also feel like it uses a lot more battery than the regular LG launcher.

Google has their own Google Now Launcher but outside of the quick access to Google Now it's pretty barebones. I'm now onto Action Launcher and maybe later try out Buzz and Nova/Apex Launcher. I'd rather not buy the full versions to try out all the features so I'm wondering what you guys think. How customizable is Android? I'm a fan of minimalistic and flat themes.

Instead of creating multiple threads with all the questions I have I'll keep it all here (and hopefully the answers help all the new iOS to Android switchers too):

Why is the text and UI so damn big? Even after changing the text size in the settings to be the smallest it can be everything seems so big compared to iOS. Comparing Ai Writer and Instagram on both versions (G4 vs iPhone 6 , both phones have the same screen size), the Android version of Ai Writer has the majority of its screen taken up by the keyboard, Home bar, and top bar. For instagram even with the Home removed so we're dealing with same screen size for the app, the 6 version has 3.25 rows of pictures showing (if you go to any profile), and the G4 only has 2.5 (I can add pictures later for better visualization of what I mean).

What's the best way to move all my iTunes music to my Android? I thought of uploading it all to Play Music, then creating a playlist and downloading to offline from that since Google doesn't have a single download button. But that uses up a lot of home data and my ISP won't be happy with my uploading and then downloading 40GB.

Thanks for the help! =]
