Hi guys,
Was mucking around with trying to use voice search to make calls with my headset and it seems Ive fudged something up. Previously I could press the red button on my HTC handsfree headset/headphones to initiate a phone call (one press would take me to the phone app and a second press would dial the last number). I somehow made the button press initiate playback of some wav files stored on my phone via the Google Music Player (I have no idea how this happened). Ive since removed the files from the player but have lost functionality to initiate a call from the headset. Now a single click does nothing since I have removed the audio file it was playing back. It would be great if I could get the old functionality back as I often use the hands free in the car and this is preventing me from dialling out using the button.
EDIT; Further research leads me to believe that Music application is being fired up whenever I press the button. I can see it pop up again after killing it manually.
EDIT2: Im using an HTC One M7
EDIT3: It seems the defautl behaviour for the button is now set to Music and I have no way to revert it back to being just a normal headset . Any ideas?
