I have a couple bluetooth clips that allow me to plug my headphones in to it for stereo media and also does the normal phone functions.
When I use it with IOS, adjusting the volume adjusts the volume on the phone, so the iphone determines the max volume.
With Android, it seems to have a semi independent volume; whatever the phone is set at determines the BT's max volume, but the BT's volume controls don't alter the phone's volume. To increase/decrease the max volume, I have to adjust it on the phone.
Is there a way to make Android use the BT volume controls the way IOS does?
*Bonus Question:
With IOS, when you dock a device, audio output has one volume that is independent from the device. You always have consistent volume for whatever audio equipment you're going to be using.
I haven't seen any Android docks that work this way. When I plug a 3.5mm stereo connector for a sound system, Lollipop (on my LG G3) automatically reduces the max volume if set higher than a specific threshold.
On some apps with audio output (e.g. Ambio, or some alarm apps), the volume button on the phone only increases the system volume, not music/media headphone volume. I have to go to the audio settings to increase the volume.
Any suggestions to simplify this, or disable the automatic volume reduction (and warnings when I increase it)?
TIA for any help or speculation!
