How to update clockwork mod from v4 to v6?

Newbie here. I own ZTE Skate and I want to try out 4.4.2 version of android but in the guide I found out that I need clockwork mod v6 but it doesnt show how to update from an old version. I also need help for changing my rom space to 230mb since 4.4.2 requires more. Any advice would help.
