Hey all. I'm a longtime google voice user, and also an ATT customer, which means I have two numbers -- my ATT number, and my GV number. I use one number with a certain group of people, and the other number with others. I know the there is a setting for replying -- hangouts will reply with the number the contact last texted, which is great, and I have that enabled.

The problem I'm having is when I'm texting someone for the first time. Hangouts will only let me text them with my GV number. I cannot figure out a way, at all, to change it so I can text them with my ATT number, without setting the entire app to only use my ATT number.

Is there not an option for this?
