Language problems on Russian Rom (Want latin characters)

I recently updated a custom rom, made by russians because they are the only people that care about cheap and good chinese phones, not reaally a problem but it really annoys me. After changing the language some characters, specially accented like "ã" and "õ" and "é" are still written in russian characters, how do I change it?
