Can I force an android update on a phone?

I have a galaxy folder 2 model gm1650 dual Sim. It only runs android 6.0. There are other models of this phone that run 7.0, specifically other country variants. Can I force an upgrade to 7.0.
I currently can't login to Samsung account because this version is no longer supported
