What Happened to my phone?

I updated my phone like a couple of weeks ago but ever since then it's been acting weird, I restart my phone and it shows the new layout but after like a minute or so it reverts back to the old and now I don't get notifications from my messages app even though I have them on and idk what to do, any ideas?
