Need recommendation - Fresh/different RPG preferably

I have recently played Steven Universe Attack the Light and Battleheart Legacy. I very much enjoyed both. I am looking for more games like this that have RPG elements but aren't firmly set in the JRPG archetype (i.e., not the Kemco JRPGs.) I did not really like Chaos Rings or Zenonia though, so I think I lean a little more towards the 2D, turn-based style.
