Can you use the MA1 or AAWireless with a head unit that already has Wireless Android Auto?

So here is the deal, I already have a headunit (Kenwood DMX905S) with wireless android auto, but it's inconsistent. Sometimes wireless works flawlessly, sometimes I wait a few minutes, sometimes I have to turn on and off head unit or phone to get Android Auto wireless to connect. Lately there have been situations where the AA would disconnect randomly and then quickly reconnect.
Would there be any issues with using MA1 or AAWireless with a headunit that already has wireless android auto?
