(I've read the Rules of /r/Android and understand that most questions should be posted to r/AndroidQuestions, however I'm interested in what the general consumer thinks and there are many more users here. Please let me know if this is an inappropriate post.)
At some stage in the future my app will be extended to include additional enhancements at a small cost, while keeping the base app uncrippled. That is, the additions are purely "niceties" rather than core app features.
If there was a free app that you used frequently, would you be more inclined to get these enhancements via an in-app purchase, or by purchasing a "plus"/"pro" version of the app?
Any response or thoughts are appreciated!
Edit: So far the response is strongly in favour of a "pro" version. I had expected that this method is preferred, but not to this level. Keep 'em coming!
