I imported a Galaxy Nexus from Japan and it has dead pixels... any ideas?

I didn't get it from Negri, I got it via Amazon Japan and bounced it via a forwarder. It has one dead pixel in the top right and one stuck (I think) pixel on the right side of the screen.

I'm pretty sure my warranty is only applicable in Japan... I'm not really sure what to do at this point. I don't want to spend $50 shipping it back to Japan and probably postage back - is it worth trying to contact Samsung locally and ask them to do a screen replacement as though it were a Verizon Nexus?

Should I just deal with it?

EDIT: Japan warranty is international according to the Samsung website. Will call Samsung and give an update soon :)
