Haven’t watched any of the episodes since the initial airing. Last night I watched them all again while on a flight to Europe!

I was, like many in here a massive hater of the Che’ character. I realised tonight that it isn’t really the problem for me. It’s Cynthia. Not Miranda per se (even though the character is an absolute disgraceful mess now). Cynthia has ruined the show.

As an executive producer, director and one of the leads; Cynthia thinks we as an audience care about her art imitating life. If this is how she is in real life and the sub plots are taken from her own life (inc her real life partner who seems to look like an Irish version of Che’) then she’s welcome to it. I just wish she didn’t ruin the legacy of a great character along the way. She has butchered an iconic show with what and how she wanted to be portrayed. People forget she was married to a man many years ago and then fell in love with her wife.

There was absolutely no need for Cynthia to turn the script into her own life. Miranda Hobbes went from strong to weak and along with it, Cynthia has become the laughing stock of the industry.
