Itâs kinda annoying when non African Americans try to speak on our heritage because they saw some study that was published back in 2002 that said we were 20% European even though I have yet to meet one of us that has that much European in us. That equivalent to a full white grandparent and most of us donât have that.
This is the same shit that happened when i posted my results on here âthatâs a lot Africanâ âyouâre lying, youâre not African American,â âthats not the average amountââ stop.
Yâall donât know what youâre talking about. Most of us are 70-90% African.
Itâs very odd because I had people in my comments fight over my dna test. Trying to invalidate my ethnic group.
Edit:
What I think Iâm trying to say is, trying to challenge someone or question someoneâs ethnicity because the amount is a little more than average is weird. Iâm 87-88% African and the comments I got was so weird.
And it made me angry because often times we are invalidated. I was told I look very Nigerian and thatâs what made me do my test and I was so proud to share it, then I had people message me in private chats and in the comments trying to invalidate me. I would try to defend myself and give an alternative perspective but I would get downvoted to hell and back. It felt like people were trying to say the knows more about my community than I did.
No. You wouldnât. Because this âno ethnicityâ schtick is racist as fuck.
Russian is a nationality. Not an ethnicity. Same for Romania. You. Are an ill educated idiot who I no longer have the mental capacity to deal with.
Your comment history betrays you.
This is a fair point re Romania. Commenter I was replying to was making broad claims Re ethnicities, at one point telling someone that Mexican is a nationality, not an ethnicity.
Russia though 𤣠Even more ethnicities than the US I think.

By and large colonists in the Americas were white. Full stop. You donât see immigrants of people of color until about the mid 1800âs with the importation of Asian Americans who are then treated no better than the enslaved Africans.
Black, in the United States is a valid ethnicity as is white, Hispanic, Indigenous, Asian, and Pacific.
You donât get to question OPs identity. You wouldnât question me if I said I were white, you donât get to question anyone else.
