This has been on my mind and weighing on me for a while and I am angry at myself for not speaking up about it more. A comrade of mine has had their daughter taken away from them, kidnapped by their own sister and is now being kept from their daughter. They are unable to call, message, or see their daughter in person because their sister has completely blocked them access. Idealistically, They should be able to get help from the police or at least through the legal system but the cards are stacked against them because they live unconventionally, in a van they converted to a camper. In our society, the legal system is corrupt, favoring those in higher classes with more money, more land, more capital. Situations like these are not only uncommon in the capitalist system, but they are CAUSED by capitalism. The liberal society created by capitalism perpetuates a status quo of how to be and live and what role to take in society and whoever steps out of line is ostracized and otherwise punished. Us outcasts are kicked out of our homes and separated from our family by people who claim to love us. Us outcasts are ridiculed, pathologized, and ignored by people who claim to be our friends and comrades. Us outcasts are harassed and abused by the law enforcers. As anarchists, let's fight against the tyranny of capitalism and against the national socialism of liberal society that tells us that we have to be a certain thing and act a certain way. At this point, I find it hard to gather my thoughts and it takes a lot from me to mentally put things to words especially after being constantly shut down. I've seen other anarchists go through the same and worse. I've seen news of anarchists brutalized by becoming justly violent and defending themselves, their neighbors, and the planet. I am tired and I haven't even been alive for 3 full decades yet. The world is going further and further to shit and I see people all over, every day pretending it's not. Let's support each other, let's use our technology to put up videos and messages for people to see and let's not give up. And if you haven't already, take steps to becoming self-reliant as little reliance on capitalism as possible. Your 9-5 job or whatever type of false security can easily be stripped. Empower yourself. I am still ignorant and taking things day by day trying to learn how to take care of myself and looking for places to grow a garden. I keep being kicked from places, I keep being mistreated but I won't give up and I know at least one person who has never given up on me despite all the hate we are fed in this world. Anarchy is freedom.

Free if We Want It
This song is describing how I am feeling because we truly can be free if we want it and the words stick out to me: "don't look back, keep going."
