The more I find out about the reality of the world around me ranging from proxy wars, slavery, climate change, you name it, I can see why a lot of people become hateful or nihilistic. The issue with this is that hate and apathy is that it only adds to the evils in the world. I'm learning that to help myself and others, I instead need to be more loving, more assertive, and more present. So instead of being cruel or disconnected, to help the common folk like me, I should focus on acknowledging the truth and helping others be aware. It's crucial to show others that anarchy isn't the stereotype of chaos, hate, and destruction that the media would like us to believe. Anarchy is empathy. Realizing that there should be no hierarchy because everyone is born of equal value is empathy. Realizing that the capitalist system is not worth destroying the planet and the lives of millions is empathy.
