If a person wants to see the 'world' as a pie to be divided, this will fit within the conformation bias of one person's wealth taking away from another's. Yes, the world is rarely ever fair, and sometimes that works in our favor or disadvantage. Seeing as most who read this are likely doing so using a computer connected to the internet, and have the leisure time to do so, you should feel fortunate compared to much of the world.
One can try to force the world to be 'fair' but realize that these 'raw resources' have been sitting there for thousands/millions of years, and yet overall 'we' are vastly wealthier today than in ancient times when there were far fewer persons to divide these resources.
One can always look at his neighbor's wealth with envy, and seek to take a slice, or one can work towards creating his own pie.
