"Age of Three Kings" by Me

Hmmm, listening to this I think I had too much coffee! :P This video was inspired by:

Found my notes on the story, they're kinda messy, but some might prefer to skim the notes, rather than listen to the audio:

Age of Three Kings

Demian

*   Mastery of Sorcery, Spirituality, mysticism, and a master of things unknown
*   Explained the unexplainable, give meaning to the meaningless.
*   All powerful, all knowing
*   Reward with plentiful bounties
*   Defiance was met with wrath, typically drought, famine, war, and disease
*   His power was through his agents, known as THE ORDER OF THE PRIESTS
*   Rejected the weaknesses of mankind with unworldly defiance of the natural urges of man.
*   Were said to serve a higher law, and set an example to the people.
*   Inspiring people to defy their urges to be autonomous free individuals, and instead work together for the betterment of all, in the service of Demian
*   Inspired them through belief systems
*   Powerful, but not of the human realm, and far too abstract for the growing intellect of mankind.
*   Demian needed a central authoritative figure for the people to serve, and anointed Archanos as king, an immoral man said to be of noble bloodline, a hybrid of man and god.
*   Archanos remained through the rise and fall of many kings.

Archanos

*   Authority, King
*   Man of Iron, Power, Steel, Dominance, and Military Might
*   Held festivals, celebration, plays, and sports tournaments.
*   Acted through THE ORDER OF THE KNIGHTS
*   Built grand monuments
*   Known as the benevolent protetor, from the sinful heathens of foriegn lands, from the barbarians.
*   Humanity began to recognize that demian had no authority of this world, and no power, as people defied him without consequence.
*   Abandon Demian, and claim authority through his own power and benevolence
*   As people began to recognize that Archos only power was through those who willingly served Archanos, and people began to become restless.
*   Why must we serve demands to pay Archos tribute, and serve in his armies?

Pilotas

*   Positioned carefully in the rebellion, carefully corrupting their ideas, and exploiting man's weakness for power.
*   Instead of dissolving power, redirected it such to serve his pwn purpose.
*   Acted through THE ORDER OF THE ACADEMIA
*   A man of shifting identities
*   A man who controlled the poppet strings
*   Controlled all manner of social organizations and movements, and pitted each movement against eachother
*   The endless stalemate of infighting was a matter of great amusement to Pilitos
*   Would present to the people a poppet, a clone, with two masks, pitting each identity against eachother as the people naively fought amongst eachother who should be their new king, continuing to believe they held the reigns of power, and each time thwarted by a mere pupped of no consequence.
*   To prevent questioning, he gained control of the young, under the guise of spreading knowledge, and the capacity to succeed.
*   Some eventually began to discover the fraudulent nature of the fraudulent structures of authority, and their choices were mere placebos.

Psylos

*   Psylos was a sorcerer of the mind, deception, fraud
*   Few knew he existed
*   Bend people to his will
*   Pull the puppet strings, and acquire whatever he desired by exploiting the desires of individuals, whether it was charity, kindness, maliciousness, greed, war, or destruction - each time, carefully subverting it for his own gain, whether for wealth or power.
*   Would concoct elaborate frauds, and slowly corrupt the valuable and innocent into tools which may serve his purpose.
*   Exploit spirituality to serve Demios
*   Exploit identity, family, and mutual respect to serve nationalism and Archaos
*   Exploit the desire for freedom to serve Protos
