Welcome to /r/Anarcho_Capitalism, a discussion of propertarian anarchist principles, the non-aggression principle, Austrian-Economics, and libertarian ethics.
I've been on reddit for around 4 years, and when I first made my account I subscribed to /r/anarchism and /r/anarcho_capitalism on a whim, not even having a proper concept of what the ideas stood for. I ended up reading a lot of articles and playing on the Civcraft server, making a lot of ancap friends. The last 4 years have seriously changed my political views and my life.
But this subreddit has changed. The following posts were all on the /r/anarcho_capitalism front page when I opened it earlier:

This subreddit isn't about trashing SJWs or making fun of "gender equality", and it sure as fuck isn't about white nationalism. Did a far left SJW movement get the use of a word banned somewhere? Sure, that has to do with personal freedom. Did a woman get pepper sprayed because she started a fight? We don't care, go laugh about it somewhere else. I don't think I have to explain to any of the anarcho-capitalists here why ANY sort of nationalism, based on race/ethnicity/location/gender/etc is useless to them. It doesn't promote personal freedom for others or yourself, and it doesn't encourage free markets. Tribalism is useless.
One of the things I've always really appreciated about this subreddit is the willingness to discuss rather than attack or censor. I think that this has led us to the problem we have now. The community has become flooded with spillover from other subs (according to a friend of mine, a neo-reactionary sub got shut down and they invaded here, but I don't know) and we haven't done enough about it. I'm not suggesting we start banning or censoring anyone, just that we more often use up/downvotes when they're appropriate. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have always been very slow to use up/downvotes at all, and I think it's time for that to change. If we don't use the system in front of us to shape what we want this subreddit to be about (Anarcho-Capitalism), then there's no point in it even existing. I don't want to see this subreddit reduced to the kind of sexist, racist rhetoric that the far left accuses it of. I'm not saying we push anyone out: In fact, let them stick around and maybe they'll learn something (like I did). Just keep downvoting the things that have nothing to do with Anarcho-Capitalism, and we can keep this subreddit on-topic.
