I am a left Anarchist but I am not here to argue (we have all had enough of that) but hopefully I can clarify my own personal reasoning behind and explanation of my left anarchist position.

I desire a society in which all individuals are equally free from violence, oppression, and equal capable of seeking out their own destinys. I think you would agree with this statement. When I study history the overwhelming pattern I observe is that freedom, liberty, and equality of opportunities is overwhelmingly determined by an individuals place in the social class system. To deny the existence of a class structure is an act of willful ignorance about history. I find it very troubling that so many ancaps deny the existence of class in society and the role that your class plays in determining your opportunities in life. Ancaps who do acknowledge the existence of the class hiearchy are quick to say that the state is solely responsible for the existence of class. Without the state their would be no rulling class and no exploited class. Without the state the rulling class would certainly loose one of its major weapons of control but the assertion that classism would vanish entirely is completely unfounded. Classism is a complicated phenominon of group behavior and I don't believe it has any easy solutions. Furthermore, the existence of classism predates any modern conception of a government.

My solution to how to spread individual liberty is to uplift the condition of the lower classes because they have been most denied liberty historically. Being of the lower classes is highly correlated with having your individual liberty suppressed, therefore I conclude that the most reliable method of increasing liberty in society is focusing on how to uplift the lower classes. I am not wed to any particular method of doing this. I once beleived the state could help the lower classes but now I see the error of that thinking. I now beleive that the best way for the lower classes to improve their condition is to fight back against the state for more political freedom and fight with their employers for better working conditions.

If ancaps could convince me that free markets were best for lower class workers then I would suport free markets. But no one has yet convinced me of this. This is not an ideological matter, I dont need anyone to proclatyze to me about the wonders of free markets, I would need to see consistant mathimatical data that countries which move closer to the free market end of the spectrum have better conditions for the lower classes then countries which move away from the free market end of the spectrum. I would need to see emperical evidence and unfortunatly for you guys I havnt found any yet. I see no statistical corolation beatween free market policies and improved conditions for the working classes. Dont worry Im not a socialist either, I have never seen any positive corolation beatween welfair programs and improved conditions for the working class either. Then only thing which seems to corolate to better conditions for the working class is high levels of unionization in the workforce. So I conclude that the most reliable way to spread liberty to the most number of people is to suport worker unionization amongst the lower classes. I am anti-statist to a great degree and I am neutral on the topic of markets.

Of coarse, it doesnt seem to me that the goal of anarco capitalism is to uplift the condition of the lower classes. Many of you claim that free markets are the best posible thing for the poor, and mayby you realy beleive this despite no emperical evidence to this claim, or mayby your lying and dont care about the fate of the poor. Either way, I suspect that your primary intrest in free markets is because you beleive they are optimal for entrepreneurs and business owners. You are people who suport the buisness owning class above all else. But we cant all be buisness owners most of us will always be workers until some great future technological revolution. So for any Ancap trully intrested in universal wellbeing and increased opportunities for all people not just buisness owners, I encourage you to do some emperical research into what actualy corolates with improved conditions for the lower classes.
