Adam Kokesh is now a mystery to me; for I cannot imagine why he would start out as anti-war, yet he now is calling for war. He saw first-hand the terror of war and came to oppose it; now he has been persecuted and calls for war against all who resemble his own persecutors. While every state qualifies as an organization which thrives on aggression that is no justification for war; such a claimed justification could only lie in collectivism. Adam has long claimed to be a libertarian, an anarcho-capitalist, and a voluntarist; such claims denote an individualism.
Yet he calls for war, negating both his previous opposition to war and his previous individualism. I am not sure that I can respect a man who will not even maintain the same positions in the face of aggression. The eleghant in the room is now "flip-flopper".
If he is to continue on this anti-libertarian rhetorical path, then I can only hope that Adam will meet someone who will return him to his previous libertarianism, with its anti-war-ism and individualism. I fear that there may only be hope. I fear that this anti-libertarianism may not remain rhetorical.
I remember Adam talking about agorism; how things like Bitcoin and Tor were the way to ending statism. Adam, what happened to your calls to engage in trade not war? It is a mystery to me, though I do have hope, if that.
