I saw this picture over at /r/Entrepreneur with the title "Young Entrepreneur." While the post was a bit "meme-like", it reminded me, and offers a perfect illustration for what was one of the first steps towards me becoming a libertarian and anarchist.
After 12 years of public education, and despite massive technological advantages, most persons in "first world" countries have absolutely NO idea how to engage in a productive activity, without someone else holding the reigns. Unless they have some boss telling them what to put where, they're incompetent, unmotivated, and clueless.
Other than being enslaved and robbed of a good portion of my childhood - the fact that it leaves people so incapable and incompetent after 12-16 (yes, even college) years of education, is why I absolutely despise (most) formalized education and question the observational-capacity (street smarts) of anyone who does support it.
