• Relax: Remembering back to how /r/AnCap was two years ago, diversity of opinion was the norm and 'no one' acted threatened by ideas that contrasted with their own.
• Positions/Dogma: In the pursuit of free thought, the trend towards 'positions' and 'dogma' has always disturbed me - particularly claims that "AnCap ethics objectively dictate Position-Y." Other than a preference for property and liberty, the ways in which one gets there or how one achieves it may be diverse. The goal being to reduce appeals to position, authority, dogma, and similar "mind numbing" activity... and in it's place encourage free thinking & fresh ideas.
• Undermining AnCap This isn't a place for trashing AnCap values and undermining AnCap efforts. This also isn't a place for promoting value systems which have nothing to do with AnCap values. (less formally, the average members of /Anarchism, /Politics, /EPS, or /Communism are not invited)
• AnCap Friendly Invited are thoughtful and educated persons sympathetic to AnCap values. (informally, thoughtful and informed mutualists, individualist anarchists, Objectivists, Libertarians, Geoists, etc are all invited.)
• Memes & Advice Animals An enforced no-meme submissions rule seems in order, even for thoughtful meme-style posts.
• Current Events Current Events and News has it's place, and that place is /r/AnCap. This subreddit is for more 'serious' discussions.
• Newbie AnCaps Please, noting personal. We'd love to talk to you and answer your question in /r/Anarcho_Capitalism, but not here. Basic questions about "is X aggression" or "how would AnCaps deal with Y" don't belong here.
• Flame Wars Personal attacks, insults, and verbal attacks are not permitted. Antagonizing members is also not permitted. Trolls and borderline trolls will be banned. If someone is getting on your nerves, contact a MOD.
