This obviously contains spoilers about Last of Us.
People who played the game already know that the fireflies wanted to operate on Ellie, even if that meant killing her (without even asking her) in order to get a cure for the plague affecting humankind. On the other side we have Joel who kills all the people in his path to prevent that from happening and finally saves Ellie.
This creates an interest conflict, not only Ellie resents Joel, for not allowing her to sacrifice, but apparently Joel end ups killing the only person with enough knowledge to develop a vaccine had another immune person appear.
I am curious, if there would be any ancap or libertarian POV on this situation
