Hi everyone. I own a Fuji GS645 (this is the folder model) that has an unresponsive meter. Everything else works aside from that. It used to work fine then I shipped it to a tech to get the shutter speeds & aperture fixed, when the camera was returned to me I noticed that the light meter has stopped working. The indicators aren’t even showing up in the viewfinder anymore. My only mistake was prior to shipping it to the tech, I wasn’t able to confirm if the meter was still working or it died before the tech received it. He told me he didn’t check the meter either cause I only asked him to fix the shutter speeds & aperture. The battery cover and terminal are both clean, I don’t see any signs of corrosion anywhere so I’m wondering what could’ve caused it to die. I’ve already tried cleaning the battery cover & terminal but nothing happened. Does anyone know how to fix this and what caused it to die in the first place? The camera is usable as it is but I’d really love to get the meter working again. Thank you in advance for any help!
