Canon Autoboy 2 has a slightly big gap in the back cover. Will this cause light leaks?

Hi, I just noticed that my Canon Autoboy 2’s back cover has a slightly big “gap”. Just wondering if this will cause light leaks to my roll or if this “gap” looks normal. I have another Canon Autoboy 2 unit and the back cover doesn’t have a gap like this. The back cover can be closed properly and all functions are working properly, this gap is just making me overthink a bit. Haha. Any insights will be much appreciated. I circled the “gap” in the photo in case it’s not that noticeable.
