Hi. Any owners of the Bessaflex TM here? I noticed the mirror of mine has “slipped”. Right now it looks like it’s about to fall off except it won’t budge when I try to move it. It’s just stuck in this “slip” position. I tried mounting a lens to it and the lens briefly got stuck, I was able to remove the lens but it caused a crack in the mirror (I know I was really stupid for trying this, I never encountered a problem like this before so I was completely clueless) :-( I’m not entirely sure what caused this to be honest, the camera wasn’t dropped and I haven’t used it in months. Does anyone know what I should do to be able to move the mirror and put it back to its correct position? And does anyone know what cameras have the same mirror as the Bessaflex TM? This mirror is still usable but I’m thinking of replacing it due to the crack. It’s difficult to find a Bessaflex TM for parts and Bessaflex TMs are expensive in general so I’m hoping to get the replacement mirror from a different camera. Any help will be much appreciated.
