Olympus OM-30 won't turn off / battery door is loose?

Post Body

So i recently swapped the mode switch out on my olympus om30 since the previous switch had broken and it wouldn't go off auto mode, now the problem I have encountered seems to be that my camera will not turn off and when it is switched to the "off" position it will just stay in auto, when i move the switch to any of the other modes like bulb or manual or battery check they work as they should. Another problem i have encountered is that the battery door is quite loose and the bottom part moves slightly to the side when closed instead of remaining in its usual position, i have put a piece of duct tape in the way so it stays as it should but i would like to find a more permanent fix for this. Any help would be appreciated!
