Can cold mess with a shutter?

Post Body

I recently shot a roll of Kodak ColorPlus 200 in my Pentax KM. I had the camera CLA'd by a reputable place about two months ago. A number of my images came back looking half-exposed. A quick Google search saw people say it looked like a shutter issue (shots with identical problem to mine referenced shutter not synced and not opening fully). It seemed to only happen on photos where it was cranked all the way up to 1/1000 and I was outdoors in the cold (below 32 degrees). I took the lens off my Pentax and tested all my shutter speeds in front of a lamp. From everything I can see with the naked eye the shutter is opening fully.

TL;DR: Before I contact the guy who CLA'd my camera, can cold weather make a shutter act screwy at high speeds?
