Post Body

I’ve spent over half a year looking for one of these for sale online and bought the first one I could find. The only other listings that I ever saw were from Japan and they were pretty expensive compared to what I ended up paying. I was wondering if it’s only hard to come by here in Europe, or if it’s rare in general. I never see this thing coming up in discussions or suggestions around scanners, even though it’s quite capable. It features scan autofocus and 3200 DPI, but the most impressive feature is that it can scan pretty much every format. It goes all the way from 135 trough the entire 120 format from 6x4,5 to 6x17 and all the way to 4x5 sheet film, sadly it can’t do 8x10 as the entire scanner is physically smaller than a sheet of 8x10 film. The manual even says that it can be used as a lab scanner to scan directly into a printer if it’s set up correctly, I haven’t tried printing myself though.
