Best polaroid camera for a beginner?

I'm considering getting a Polaroid camera for my sister for Christmas, and I'm wondering which is the best option. I've found a Polaroid Now for $90, but have started doubting if this is the best possible purchase. Ive seen that the film is quite expensive, and have seen some examples of Fujifilm Instax photos that seemed to look a lot better than the Polaroid. Also the film is much cheaper. What would be a good second option to the Polaroid Now ? Or should I just get the Polaroid?
