Doctor said it's healed but i still feel a stingy sensation
Post Body

Hey guys. I've been reading this subreddit for months and i finally have the nerve to post.

I had a 2 superficial anal fissures, after an weird position during anal sex. It happened 13 weeks already.

I didn't pay a lot of attention, it felt really tiny and i had little tears like that before that healed after a few days. Oh boy, this wasn't the case.

I stopped bottoming and after 2 weeks the tear kept getting bigger in every bowel movement. I went to a doctor and he told me to just put on some topical cream and wait, that i should be fine in 2-3 weeks. 4 weeks passed and they were still there.

Went to another doctor, this time a proctologist and he said the same. Keep using the cream and wait. Another 4 weeks passed and i went to another doctor. This time a colorectal surgeon. He really took a look inside. He introduced a transparent hollow dildo-looking thing and saw my entire anal cavity. Said i had a superficial tear. He told i should've taken care of the tear in the first 8-10 days, so it doesn't become chronical.

Well, he gave me a stool softener and suppositories to take for a week. I felt improvement for the first time in weeks. I stopped feeling pain or any kind of discomfort during my bowel movements.

I went to my follow up appointment on wednesday. He took a look and said i'm healed. Pushed his fingers around my sphincter and felt nothing, no pain, no stingy feeling.

I was sooooo happy i could cry! Healed after 13 weeks!

However, when i have a bowel movement now i feel a little stingy sensation. As if a little tiny needle is poking me from the inside, where the fissure used to be. So, am i really healed?

I haven't tried bottoming, but i just used an anal plug to "try" if i can take a dick and the stingy sensation is still there.

Should i just wait more?
