Suggestions for Vegetarians?
Post Body

I'm currently struggling with a fissure, and am wondering what dietary changes I should make as a vegetarian. I feel like a lot of advice I see on the internet has only made things worse, since many of these foods seem to give me incredibly hard stools. In particular, the following foods make my bowel movements really hard, and cause re-tearing:

probiotics

yogurt

oatmeal

soy based products

seitan

I've found the following foods to be ok:

red lentils

whole wheat foods (bread, pasta)

white flour bread in moderation

cheese in moderation

eggs

most vegetables and fruits

fried foods in moderation

Does anyone have any advice for foods/overall diet choices that prevent the stool from getting too hard? Any particular foods, or combinations of foods, that seem to create easy to pass stools?
