I've always wanted to take an overnight train in a sleeper car on Amtrak. And I have the opportunity to in a group friend trip to NOLA from Chicago.
Currently, I'm considering sharing a roomette with one of the friends on the trip.
What is sleeping in a roomette like?
What are the meals like for the long-distance trips?
How often is the train late getting into NOLA? How much is it usually late?
What things should I know about the trip before I go? What do you wish you knew before taking your first overnight Amtrak trip?
Thanks in advance. 🙂
