Giving away old tech/software books?

I have a pile of old technical books, many from my undergraduate degree almost 20 years ago (so probably a couple of editions out of date), and some for programming languages I no longer use. O'Reilly books, general textbooks, etc.
I could give these to my nearest kringloopwinkel I bet, but is there a better place that would like to take these types of books? Tech outreach organisations in need of support, for example. In an ideal world the books don't go to waste!
