what do I feed my newt larvae?

Recently my ribbed newts laid eggs and they are starting to hatch. I dunno if hatch is the right word but, yknow the larvae are becoming free. What should I feed them? Will they eat detritus worms? I've a colony in one of my tanks, would i be able to pull some and feed them to the little babies? If not, any other suggestions as to what would be some good options for food?
