Is the concierge service useful for anything?

I’ve tried calling and using the Concierge service twice to help me get/take care of some event/tour tickets and all they offer is to send me links so I can book stuff myself, which… I’ve got Google, so I can do that myself, therefore, what’s the point of the concierge service? Seems useless to me.

That's the thing. Convenience be damned, I'd always be worrying that I overpaid. And anyway, it seems more complicated somehow picking up the phone and telling a total stranger that I am interested in a weekend getaway vs. just doing my own investigating, reading reviews, looking at maps, etc.
