I think the Uber scene with Chestnut (I mean Cricket) might be important... (SPOILERS)

Something is off with it. First of all, why include the interview with the Uber driver for like 5 seconds.

There must be something important with this scene - maybe he will be coming back.

Furthermore, Cricket saying the "gay for pay" line (whilst funny) seemed out of place. The uber driver was the only person to know what happens from Cricket leaving the house and taking him to Flora. I guess that's why the documentary interviewed the driver but why only show that really small insignificant part of the interview. Did the uber driver make up the line about the gay for pay? Or did the documentary decide to add it in for fun?

Another thing that was weird was that we saw the same scene twice, but the second time, it was different. The first time, the driver slammed on the brakes, Cricket saw Flora and said "Lord have mercy" and got out of the car. The second time, he also said "it was just a question!" Before the lord have mercy line. Why show it twice, and why add that extra line? And really it's a bit weird the uber driver just left. Well maybe not but idk.

One other thing - the driver's name is Rhett Snow. Maybe he's the R in "murde-"?

(The car number plate is 552-VYWS (or maybe ending in 8). I doubt this has any relevance but since I'm overanalysing, may as well include it.)

So am I just reaching? I just think if nothing else it was weird to show the real uber driver in the documentary scene.
