Do you have any personal experiences (irl) with non-Americans that are similar to the internet?
Post Body

So this is coming from a Brit, who is curious about the negativity that Americans experience irl. We see a lot of it on the internet (which I understand, we brits get it but for other reasons) but I’m wondering if you guys have had any similar stories that you’ve encountered irl.

Most people I know think fondly of the US or feel neutral about it whenever it’s brought up in conversation, which is something that happens a lot for nursing students. So I personally see it as more of an online thing, where the minority is the loudest. A bit like how people make fun of or criticise brits online but that hasn’t transferred into real life.

Edit: thank you who referred me to seek help from reddit, didn’t know me asking about your experience, would be a cause of concern x
