When does ACE call back?

Hello, put in an ACE conservation crew application for spring service starting around March. The applications came out around November and did them within the week of release. No one has gotten back to me at all, I emailed the mountain west( my first choice) manager and he told me that it’s way way too early for anyone to contact us. I’m definitely confused, for a job I’m traveling across the country for( and I assume a good amount of others are too) wouldn’t someone reach out sooner? Anyone else who’s done these know when they are suppose to reach out? Would appreciate any insight thank you.
