hello from germany!
while reading this sub i saw that most people are in white collar or IT professions and many blue collar peeps dont realy know if they have a chance to leave the US.
i think there is a quite high chance for younger blue collar workers to come to work and live in germany if you are willing to get a german associates degree ("Ausbildung") - cause i dont think its easy to just get your american work experience getting acknowledged 100%.

germany is in a desperate need for people who wanna work in the trades (just like in the US i think...) - so i think it may be very possible (and even more possible if you already have experience) to find a place for your ausbildung.
the big downside is that you dont earn that much money during your on the job training - probaly 800-1000€ and the training takes ~3 years - but after that you would have a german license in your trade - and getting another job after that is pretty save so you probably will get a normal work visa and are on a path to citizenship.
this isnt the best deal moneywise - but if your realy wanna leave the US as a blue collar worker i think this may be a viable route.
feel free to comment and ask me questions. i'll help when i can.
