Just how bad are the driver issues, really?

So I'm currently in the process of putting together a build for myself, and I'd say I'm now 90% finished with it, the only issue I'm having is with the choice of GPU.

I really want the 5700XT (mainly the Aorus) because of the insane price/performance, but I see problems mentioned a lot - but the other choice, the 2070 Super (Aorus as well) doesn't seem to be much faster, if at all for a lot of games, while costing like 100€ more than the 5700XT.

How big/what kind of issues should I be expecting with things like multimonitor - I'll be running 3, 1 freesync and 2 generic display - or things like issues in games (mainly interested in MHW right now).

I really don't fancy spending an additional 100€ on a 2070 super for a small performance gain, but some posts I've seen has made me worry.

Is the 5700XT right now a bad choice?
