I think we can agree that Ryzen 3000 is a great new CPU launch. Yes Intels I5 9600k, 9700k and 9900k are still best in gaming (when OCed definitely) and in productivity Ryzem can again show its cores.
Either way no matter what you buy its going to be good. A 9900k is a very good 8 core CPU for workloads and a 3700x is a very good 8 core for games
The important part here is that its sad to see people dissapointed. We have a new node and architecture meaning Clocks were certain to be below Intel and we have a CCX design standing in the way of latency
So I just wanted to say, buy whats best for you, dont let yourself get falsely overhyped. AMD wont gain magic 10% with bios or something and thats okay. Its already very good
So if you just game, get a 9600k OC to 5Ghz and enjoy but people nees to realize getting a 3600 leaving it stock and buy a normal cooler and you can still game very very well
So all in all my only accusation goes out to rumours that started with "8 Core Ryzen 5" to "5Ghz stock on Ryzen 7" and ended with "5Ghz OC possible" all of which hurt AMD by overhyping and I really think that has to Stop
