Why does the app no longer remember what I was listening to?

Wtf? I have 10k downloaded songs and I like to shuffle them all and listen to them all day at work for a couple months. Now it seems every time I open this pos app it has lost what I was listening to? What changed? It wasn’t like this 2 months ago.

Is there any service out there where the song shuffle tells you that you are playing song number X out of 10000 because this app doesn’t do that anymore either.

Do I need to change the way I listen to music? Or is there something wrong with my Amazon Music?
