At what point does MBA log a sale?

Does MBA only log it as a sale when it ships? Or as soon as someone orders it? Because I have had zero sales since things came back up (which hey, maybe I am just really crap at this). But if shipping is taking up to 5-6 weeks, and they only log as it ships then is there way to tell if any of my shirts are actually selling? Thanks!
