Is flex still worth it as a side job?

Post Body

I used to do flex on the side years ago when it paid extremely well. We used to see $100-$120 for 4-5 hour shifts that could always be completely In 2-3 hours.

Now it seems like anything over base pay is rare. And anything over base pay you’re most likely going to take the full shift to deliver with a shit ton of packages and longer distances. With having to use more gas and gas pricing where it’s at now, it actually almost takes like 30% of your pay right there.

Now I understand some people do flex because they need to and this is their main job, but it isn’t for me. Nevertheless I could still use additional income and I’m just wondering if it’s worth it or if there’s anything better out there.
