Has anyone successfully gotten a schedule accommodation for childcare?? I’m not asking for anything too crazy, I’m just asking to come in a couple of hours later so I can drop my child off at day care. I’m part of TOM team and have been asking my TAM to move my schedule around since April knowing that my son is starting kindergarten this year. I applied for an accommodation and it got denied. I talked to my ops manager, he said it was up to my TAM. I talked to HR, still waiting for a response. I reached out to my senior ops and he said it was up to my TAM’a discretion. So it seems to me that my TAM is responsible for my schedule change even though he says it’s not up to him. What else can I do?? My son starts in two weeks and I’m losing my over night sitter soon. My last resort will have to be an LOA until I can figure it out.
