I am interviewing Friday to be a Trainer, Transportation Support Specialist. As part of my interview I have to create a training presentation for the interviewer. I was given a list of topics I could choose from and decided to go with the topic "Commercial Motor Vehicle Operations". One of my slides is about cargo securement and I was curious, do the drivers have a chance to inspect the load before the pull it ? I know most loads are preloaded and ready to go when a driver gets onsite but is there already a seal on the doors preventing the driver from opening them and inspecting the load or does the driver put the seal on the doors after inspecting it? Thank you.
