I had the opportunity to work at a Amazon fc for about a year, but let me tell you, it wasn't easy balancing work and school, especially in business management. However, don't dismiss it as a "waste" of money just yet. I was about a 3 months behind away from a degree. I'm heading to another school for IT. But before that, I decided to take a month off from work, then when I switched it was the best decision ever! Instead of the monotonous fulfillment center, I found my perfect fit at a sorting center designed for students like us. Picture this: a 40 hour, or 20,32,16 hour shift, working four hours at a time with an hour and a half break in between. The days are great, and the people you'll meet are super chill. I can't wait to start school in January, knowing it'll pave the way for an even better job in the future. So, fellow students, give sorting centers a try! It'll transform your work-study balance. Flexible hours, great ppl, rates😤 what are those. The point of the post, You! Don’t have to slave away at a fc that hour and 30 really helped with getting work done for school. And when I switch to the it school I can get shorter shifts till I get a better job for my career.
